Leading UK perishable food manufacturer - Hovis - was experiencing high levels of waste across the supply chain, signifcantly in excess of accepted benchmark norms.
LCP was engaged to identify causes of waste generation and design and implement a measurement and audit waste measurement system.
By engaging with all relevant business departments, a solution was developed with tight operational accountability. The integrated view of waste for the business allowed the client to understand its ‘Supply Chain Yield’ and tie back directly to the yield loss reported financially.
