Training & education
Enabling learning is vital to making change happen across an organisation. Ideally training must engage a person’s imagination, generating an appetite and motivation for new knowledge, skills and understanding. We focus on providing the right knowledge and concepts within the actual business context to stimulate and be fun!
Training and education are core elements of our service and are a crucial part of how we support our clients in being able to sustain the value of our work together. It is often overlooked in major investment programmes - we strive to secure for it the importance it demands.
We believe that training and education should lead to tangible outputs both in the form of appropriate changes in the person and in the measures on the workplace. We know that organisations, cultures and individuals have different learning styles, which means that tailoring the material and its delivery is crucial in each case.
For many of our tailored cross-business training and education programmes we work closely with our academic and professional partners to bring the best in class educators to our clients.
We deliver:
- director and senior team awareness, and business implication workshops - linking supply chain concepts and industry examples with their specific business issues in an interactive and challenging forum
- senior management development programmes - tailored in-house training and education in business and supply chain areas
- business development programmes - designed with a client to provide skills and expertise across the business. Creating an overall approach where a range of best in class suppliers are built into a connected and linked structure
- specific technical training and accreditation - providing very specific technical training around an aspect of supply chain management, and providing access to accredited training programmes, such as from APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society).
We’ve developed and delivered training and education programmes for retailers, manufacturers, logistics service providers and chemical businesses - from the Board to the operators.
