Academic partners

To bring the latest thinking to our clients, we invest in sharing, dissemination and application of new ideas through links with leading academic partners worldwide.

Working with academic partners has been a long-term strategy of LCP Consulting as a way of staying at the forefront of supply chain thinking and leadership. In turn, our academic partners benefit through further understanding of practical applications, the preparation of joint papers, teaching support, research funding and stimulating projects.

Our clients benefit from transparent access to the latest thinking and papers, rapid research, and the sourcing of support as appropriate for project panels and in-company training.

Our link with Professor Martin Christopher and the Cranfield Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, has been LCP’s longest academic link.

Martin is a member of the LCP Boards. Professor Richard Wilding is a regular contributor to LCP’s consulting and thought leadership. At Cranfield, LCP actively sponsors the Agile Supply Chain Research Club, has led benchmarking initiatives and supports Masters Degree Research Projects.

Richard Renshaw, Principal Consultant for LCP, will be lecturing on the full time Cranfield MSC in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He will be delivering the 6 Sigma elective which he has co written with Course Director, Alan Smart.

Phil Harrison, Principal Consultant for LCP, has co-authored Module Eight, Warehouse and Distribution Centre Design, for the Diploma in Logistics Management course run by Lloyds Maritime Academy at North West Kent College.
