14.45pm  May 20th, Millennium Gloucester, London

[London, UK] May 15 2015…LCP Consulting, the leading specialist in global business operations and supply chain management will be hosting a plenary session at the Retail Week Supply Chain Summit in London entitled ‘The Omni-Channel Retail Supply Chain: How to re-engineer operations around your customer.’

Against the backdrop of the conference theme ‘From Boardroom to Customer: a 360 view of supply chain, Ian Howes, Supply & Distribution Development Director, Home Retail Group will join LCP Consulting’s Dr. Phil Streatfield on stage to explore the critical issues facing retailers today as they design and develop omni-channel retail strategies and business models for business growth and sustainable success in an unpredictable, customer-led environment.

The session will explore the current challenges in achieving omni-channel leadership and provide exclusive insights into the approach applied and lessons learned by ARGOS in their journey to become Britain’s leading digital retailer today. Key topics that will be addressed include:

  • Creating a customer-led integrated, unified shopping experience: What does that mean for your supply chain, stores and logistics?
  •  Exploring the challenges and opportunities: from a stock, fulfilment and returns perspective
  •  What does it take to make a step change into the omni-channel world

LCP recently published a report entitled The Omni-Channel Dilemma which provided in-depth insight into the thinking of Retail Boards in the UK and USA in relation to the development of their Omni-channel approach and the business models needed to support them. The study looked at current activity, over-arching strategy, in-depth tactics, the critical elements driving success and future plans, revealing critical areas that are top of mind for retailers today.
