AMHSA Brexit Round Table
Alan Braithwaite to present at AMHSA Brexit Round Table
Following the decision, by the UK electorate to leave the European Union, focus is now concentrating on how the UK will trade with Europe and the rest of the world. Many factors will influence our position and relationships with our continental neighbours and may affect our position as one of the top ten global economies.
The international nature of the automated materials handling industry means that Brexit is bound to have an impact on how we do business going forwards. The Brexit round table will explore the timescale for starting the exit process and the possible impact that it may have on the UK economy. It will explore scenarios that will affect and impact businesses and propose strategies to consider in order to build a response to Brexit.
Agenda:
- How the U.K. is currently viewed globally
- Timetable for countdown
- Effects of leaving
- Strategies for consideration
Professor Alan Braithwaite, Visiting Professor, Cranfield School of Management and Chairman of LCP Consulting will discuss the risks and suggest potential responses to Brexit.
The workshop will run from 10 am (with teas and coffees from 9.30) and will finish after lunch at around 2.00 pm (with an opportunity for further networking until 2.30 pm).
Book via Eventbrite.
