International Electronics Distributor: staged business case and road map to implementation resulted in a £37 million reduction of working capital

Our client is a leading multi-channel distributor that provides a range of products and services across the globe and has operations in over 30 countries.

LCP worked with the client team to undertake a network design assessment and develop a concept design for a central distribution centre that consolidated global slow moving products into a single site. Several options were modelled and evaluated to arrive at the best solution for the wider network.

This resulted in a £37 million reduction of working capital and £60m cash impact with payback of 2.5 years.
