Developing a 'step change' strategy to deliver competitive advantage for a fresh food manufacturer across Central Europe
The client was challenged to balance short lead time service delivery with a low cost to serve. After completing a comprehensive asset footprint review, examining productivity and capacity utilisation, LCP were able to guide the business through a complex business transformation. This included rationalising production, the development of new capabilities and the design of a new production facility.
The resulting 'Low Cost Manufacturing Strategy' delivered operating cost savings in excess of 16% and yielded a capacity increase in excess of 30%.
