An innovative solution to reinvest a significant amount of inventory supporting Argos’s new customer service proposition and store growth strategy

The problem. Not enough of the right stock in the right place with too much slow moving stock in the wrong places.  Following an intensive review of key stock levers, major areas of improvement were identified.  A combination of approaches were implemented to free up inventory budget to support a transformation of the customer proposition including growth in smaller store formats.
