LCP Consulting with Argos won the Commercial Excellence and Outstanding Project of the Year Award at the 2016 Management Consultancies Association (MCA) Awards. 

Working with Argos at all levels of the organisation over three years, LCP helped create a truly customer-driven supply chain that enables the delivery of a radical new customer promise: same day delivery or store collection on a range of items, and next-day fulfilment on many more.

LCP helped Argos shape the supply strategy, refine the ‘Hub & Spoke’ model through a large scale pilot, and implement the largest change programme the organisation has ever undergone. The results are being seen in increased customer satisfaction and demand, improved business performance and best-in-class industry awards – and has led to one of the biggest retail transformations in the UK and Europe.

Retail Week Supply Chain Awards 2015

Argos and LCP Consulting won two major award wins at the prestigious Retail Week Supply Chain Awards.

The first award - The Hermes Supply Chain Transformation award - is given to a retailer which has truly transformed an area – or more than one area – of their supply chain in order to bring about necessary or overdue improvements, or keep pace with the changes taking place in modern-day retailing. The winning criteria includes:

• The retailer’s identification of a need to enhance an area of their supply chain, and the solution devised
• The extent of the transformation – regardless of the scale of the project/initiative
• Tangible evidence of how the business and/or customer has benefited

In addition the teams were awarded the overall prize – The Hermes Grand Prix Award, a nominated award decided by the judging panel.
