Executive view

'Companies increasingly compete not only on the basis of product and services but also on the strength of their supply chains.

This is as true for LCP as it is for our clients - and means that we need to build teams that combine the people skills to make things happen with the technical quality that ensures that solutions are sound and sustainable.

We also invest time in working with our clients to form really productive teams in which our clients too can develop their capabilities.

We need and expect our people to live LCP’s passion for our specialisation, so we look to recruit and retain the very best people for our team. We invest in, and are totally committed to, their development through a consulting-industry-certified process.'

Alan Braithwaite
- Executive Chairman

When I started LCP in 1985, my vision was to help companies realise the benefits of customer driven supply chain management. Many years on, I am proud of our people and of the work we do with our clients. I am determined we will continue to develop LCP as a management consultancy at the leading edge of supply chain thinking. My passion is effective supply chain management and I have written extensively about it.

Throughout the years, I have enjoyed securing substantially enhanced performance for many multinational organisations across Europe, as well as in the USA, South Africa, and China. I know from experience that the key principles of the supply chain can be applied to all sectors, and from manufacturing, and purchasing and supply, to distribution, and customer satisfaction.

John Lockton - Managing Director

We strive at all times to focus on the business needs of our clients - and importantly to understand the demands on them from their customers. It is my aim to make sure we continue to do this and make LCP a success as an innovative consultancy and business.

Our supply chain is key, as it provides the value to our clients through our group of skilled and enthusiastic people, who draw not only on their own experience, but also on the combined expertise of all at LCP. Our partners - academic and professional - are vital as companies today want high-performing teams with real expertise to tackle their issue quickly and effectively.

It is my belief that working in this way ensures that we will continue to provide the flexibility and quality of expertise that our clients need in today’s demanding business environment.

Julian Mosquera - Supply Chain Technical Director

I look to continuously refresh and challenge LCP's thinking, approach, and methods in supply chain management, believing that this is essential to keep LCP at the leading edge of our specialism.

Before joining LCP, I was a lecturer at the University of Liverpool, where I had previously gained my PhD in Logistics Management. My experience includes working in all areas of business process change, ranging from planning, through to manufacture and supply. I have also run substantial in-company training programmes covering both, areas of management - process, project and teaming - and the more technical areas of forecasting, planning and supply chain.
