Our People

LCP people believe in the potential of the customer-driven supply chain to add real value to a company’s operations and bottom line. We want people who can realise this potential for our clients by working closely with people at all levels in an organisation and keenly focusing on introducing best practice and pragmatic solutions.

  • Many of our people have gained experience in operational roles in the supply chain, often at the most senior levels, and so are readily able to work from the Board through to the heart of the operation.

LCP has a broad mix of people from the practical to the highly analytical. We put together project teams that best meet each client’s requirements and can ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Our people are renowned for their consulting flair and flexibility to meet emerging needs. We are lateral thinkers who can help our clients see the world in a different way, providing clarity and giving new insights. We balance this with strong project governance to ensure our clients stay in control.

Our people-development programme is accredited by the UK Institute of Management Consultancy. It focuses on developing:

  • technical expertise - the technical aspects of supply chains, going into the fundamental and practical aspects of individual functions within and across the chain from customer to supplier
  • consulting skills - the principles and activities involved in carrying out consulting projects, including, communication, working with people, leading teams, applying core consulting tools and methods, and working with senior business groups
  • thought leadership - the development of new ideas in business and supply chain management, contributing to our knowledge in this area.

‘We say at ASDA that winners focus - LCP have provided that logistics focus to give real value. They believe in matching the chemistry of their people with that of their clients - a crucial element often overlooked by other consultants.’
