Experienced people

We are interested in people with an enthusiasm and experience in one or more aspects of supply chain management, especially if you have both a consulting and operational background, or have experience in areas such as: marketing/customer service, logistics, manufacturing purchasing, supplier management or supply chain IT systems.

Consultant and analyst role description

We are always seeking top-calibre individuals who are in the early stages of their consulting career to join our expanding consulting team. Individuals in this role will typically:

  • become a high performing team member for results-focused delivery
  • provide quantitative and analytical consulting expertise for a diverse set of clients and projects
  • apply LCP’s supply chain analytical tools and methods to develop innovative and creative ways of understanding and documenting our client business issues and needs
  • experience early and significant involvement with clients, engaging with appropriate client project team members to validate issues, confirm findings, and formulate action plans.


Strong candidates for this role will:

  • be enthused about key principles in one or more of the following: business, demand and supply chains, logistics management, manufacturing operations, purchasing
  • have 2-3 years practical work experience (greater experience will be considered)
  • have strong analytical and information management skills
  • demonstrate initiative, creativity, and critical thinking
  • be a good communicator
  • have a track record of excellence and success.

Educational requirements

Required

  • Degree - 2(i) or above. Education to have included a number of the following: engineering, operations research, statistical measures, logistics theory, computer science, mathematics, business finance
  • A good grade in A level maths
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and oral
  • A full driving licence is essential


Desired

  • Second degree; business/supply chain/logistics/engineering/manufacturing
  • Theory and practice of logistics/supply chain management/manufacturing management
  • Second language
